I’m a proofreader, passionate about providing friendly, constructive and detail-focused support.
Consistency matters to me – in the detail, and in the way I support my clients.
I love to read and learn. Non-fiction books often teach me things I wouldn’t otherwise explore, and I enjoy discovering new subjects. Fiction interests me for a different reason: how an author can bring a story together with imagination.

My approach is respectful and built on clear communication and genuine care for your writing style.
My role is to keep your words free from distractions, so nothing interrupts the reading experience.
My goal is to help you feel confident in your writing and to ensure it’s read as you intended.
When proofreading, I look for the small details that others might miss – spelling errors, grammar slips, awkward punctuation, and inconsistencies – the things that affect your credibility and the reader’s experience.
You’ll receive a version that reads exactly as you intended, with full control over what to keep or change.

I trained with the Publishing Training Centre and am an active member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), the professional body dedicated to upholding high editorial standards.
Professional Standards
When I’m not proofreading, I spend my time crocheting, reading (of course), gardening (though I’m not fond of the bugs), or simply relaxing with a double choc mocha.
