Do you want to make your manuscript the best it can be – without committing to a full proofread just yet?

The 3-Chapter Check-In is a low-cost, focused review of three chapters to help you identify recurring issues early.
You’ll receive clear, easy-to-follow feedback – no jargon, no pressure.

It’s perfect if you want to catch issues early and save time – and money – later in the process.

You’ll see how I work, gain insight into your writing habits, and receive feedback you can apply across your manuscript.

A note on timing:
Proofreading is usually the final stage after copyediting, but this early Check-In gives your chapters the same level of care and attention I would apply to a full proofread — helping you spot issues as you go and strengthen your writing along the way.

  • A detailed proofread of 3 chapters (approx. 6,000 words)

  • Line-by-line corrections for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and typos

  • Notes on recurring issues

  • Clear feedback thats easy to understand and free from jargon

  • £45 credited if you return for a final full proofread

Simple, Reliable Formatting for Your Book

Together, we’ll get your manuscript properly formatted so it reflects your design choices and looks exactly how you want it to.

Formatting for me has always been a bit of a dark art. For some it comes naturally. I am not one of those people. Kelly formatted the book to look fantastic, she corrected my attempts to mess things up, and I have been really pleased with the final result. She asked many questions about things that I never even knew needed to be considered, provided examples in different styles, and was fabulous at explaining the reasoning between options. It was great and I think it shows best in the physical book.
